President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran early Wednesday morning, making clear that the regime in Tehran faces a simple choice: agree to a nuclear weapons deal or risk direct military action from the United States. In a series of posts on Truth Social, the president signaled that American patience has run out and that the U.S. military is already moving into position.

Trump revealed that what he described as a “massive Armada” of American warships is heading toward Iran, underscoring that the United States is prepared to act decisively if Iran refuses to negotiate. He emphasized that the fleet now moving toward the region is even larger than the one deployed earlier this month during the operation in Venezuela that resulted in the capture of dictator Nicolás Maduro, drawing a clear comparison meant to leave no doubt about American resolve.

“A massive Armada is heading to Iran,” Trump wrote, adding that it is moving with “great power, enthusiasm, and purpose.” He highlighted that the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln is leading the fleet and stressed that it is ready, willing, and able to rapidly carry out its mission if necessary. The president made clear that his preference remains a negotiated outcome, but only one that permanently blocks Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. He called for Iran to “Come to the Table” and agree to what he described as a fair and equitable deal that results in no nuclear weapons.

Trump also pointed to recent U.S. military action against Iran’s nuclear program as proof that his warnings are not empty threats. He referenced the Air Force’s June bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities during what he called “Operation Midnight Hammer,” describing it as a major blow to the regime. According to Trump, Iran ignored earlier demands to negotiate, and the consequences were swift and severe. He warned that if Tehran continues to refuse talks, any future strike would be even more devastating.

“Time is running out,” Trump wrote, stressing that the matter is urgent. He reminded Iran that he had already urged them to make a deal once before, and when they did not, the United States responded with force. His message was blunt: do not force America’s hand again.

At the same time, the U.S. military is visibly stepping up its posture in the region. U.S. Central Command announced Monday that it will conduct a multi-day readiness exercise designed to demonstrate its ability to deploy, disperse, and sustain combat airpower across the Middle East. The exercise signals that American forces are prepared for a range of contingencies and reinforces the president’s warning that the United States is serious about defending its interests.

Trump has previously indicated that his concerns with Iran go beyond nuclear weapons. Earlier this year, after massive anti-government protests erupted across the country, he warned that the United States would not stand by if the Iranian regime violently suppressed peaceful demonstrators. In a January 2 Truth Social post, Trump said that if Iran shot and killed protesters, the U.S. would come to their rescue, adding that America was “locked and loaded and ready to go.”

According to reports, thousands of people have been killed during weeks of unrest in Iran, with some estimates putting the death toll as high as 30,000. Against that backdrop, Trump’s latest warning reinforces a broader message: the United States will not tolerate nuclear threats or brutal repression, and it is prepared to back up its words with action.
